PLAYER

  • Minimum Initial Gold When the Gameworld is instanciated this is the smallest possible number of EUs that the PC will be carrying.
  • Maximum Initial Gold When the Gameworld is instanciated this is the largest possible number of EUs that the PC will be carrying.
Example For Playman the player is Playman himself. The Devious Designer is setting up level four and needs to make sure that Playman will have enough Power Bits (gold units) without having so many that the level turns into a cakewalk. Having finished designing the rest of the world he goes back to the player class to set it's values.
    • Timeporter
This is the "save position" object, and in the world of Playman it's called the Warp, and that's the name that goes in here.
    • Minimum Initial Gold Because of the way the level is set up, any player coming in from level three must have at least ten Power Bits in order to have a chance at beating the level. This value is set to 10.
    • Maximum Initial Gold
Although it's unlikely any player would make it through level three with more than 20 Power Bits, the Devious Designer sets this value to 20, just to make sure.
