Activation Box Object Reference. A special activation box which writes an object reference to the specified mailbox. Currently only used in conjunction with
ObjectCamShot's to define an area to activate a specific
ObjectCamShot.
Mailbox:
This defines the Mailbox that is written to by this Object.
Object:
This is the
ObjectCamshot class object that is used when this Actboxor is activated.
Activated By:
All
Any object in the Gameworld is considered a valid object for triggering this Actbox.
Actor:
Only the single object defined in the Activated By Actor box (see below) is considered a valid object for triggering this Actboxor.
Class:
Any object of the class defined in the Activated By Class box (see below) is considered a valid object for for triggering this Actboxor.
Object:
Any Object contained in the Activated By Object List box (see below) is considered a valid object for triggering this Actboxor.
Activated By:
Activated By Actor:
The object name in this box is considered a valid object for triggering this Actboxor when the Actor button is selected (see above).
Activated By Class:
Any object of the class name in this box is considered a valid object for triggering this Actboxor when the Class button is selected (see above).
Activated By Object List:
Any object in the corresponding Xdata document is considered a valid object for triggering this Actboxor when the Object List button is selected (see above).
Example
The Devious Designer has a camera set up at the far end of the long hallway. He wants it to activate the moment Playman enters the room.
First he creates an Actboxor the length of the room and sets it to Activated by | Actor. In this case the object he wants to trigger the Camera is Playguy, so in the Activated By | Activated by Actor box he puts Playguy as the object.
